Summary:
The New United Nations 2010 Regional Report for Human Development on Latin America and the Caribbean, it says that Peru is one of the most unequal countries in the world.
It says that the poverty has gone down some, which is good. It also says that fresh water and electricy ar among the things that are hard to find. Peru is not the only country with issues like this though. Many other Latin American countries are facing the inequality issue. Many women in the Latin American countries don't get as much education as the men, and don't get paid the same amount of money for the same work. Also one of the things to decrease was informal employment. It is still one of the highest in the area nonetheless. The report also said they had many large gaps in areas of ethnicity, education, genders, where they live, and others. While the report says Peru has a lot to work on, they are still happy some things have improved.
