Every night, I've asked my students to read for 20 minutes. What they read is not the important part, but it is just the fact that they read. Whether it's a newspaper, a magazine, a book, a short story, something on the internet (not e-mail or anything like that), etc. The following graphic will show you why it is so important for students to do this.
