Language Arts Weekly Challenge 11 - Fragments and Sentences

A sentence fragment is a group of words that is only part of a sentence and does not express a complete thought. It is usually missing a subject, a predicate, or both. Look at the following sentences. If it is a complete sentence, put a "C" for your answer. If it is a fragment, put a "F" for your answer, and then rewrite it as a complete sentence. This challenge is due Friday, November 19th.

1) As we wait for the rain to stop
2) They plan to visit Nova Scotia this summer
3) She goes to Centennial College
4) While working the night shift
5) Ate at a famous restaurant
