It is time to show your Cougar Pride! Many of our neighbors have been affected by the recent disaster. Did you know that the home of one of our very own students received a tremendous amount of damage? We definitely want to help her family and all of the other families in need. So, we are going to give to Relay for Life AND the disaster relief.
The top class for each grade level will receive pizza and ice cream during Olympic Week, while each class that earns 100 points will earn 25 points for their country during Olympic Week. Also, the top homeroom will earn 50 points for their country during Olympic Week.
$1 = 1 point
2 canned food items = 1 point
6 pack of noodles = 1 point
A blanket (good condition) = 12 points
A jacket or a coat (good condition) = 12 points
1 bar of soap (new) = 2 points
1 toothbrush (new) = 2 points
1 tube of toothpaste (new) = 3 points
Deodorant (new) = 3 points
Roll of toilet tissue (new) = 3 points
Pair of socks (new) = 8 points
Pair of shoes (good condition) = 12 points
Shirts (good condition) = 10 points
Pants (good condition) = 10 points
If there are other items you believe people may be in need of, bring them in, and points will be determined.

- Mr. Chauncey is a teacher at Kennedy Road Middle School. He teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Read 180, and an 8th Grade ELA Enrichment class. This is his 15th year of teaching. He is on the Board of Directors at the Main Street Theatre and manager of The Haunted Theatre Haunted House.
