From the first week to beyond!

Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for making this first week of school move so smoothly. It was honestly one of the smoothest first weeks in the classroom I've ever had, which can only be attributed to the students coming in and doing everything they were asked, which, for the most part, is exactly what they did. I hope it continues into the second week and throughout the rest of the year.

For those of you wondering if I've stopped counting the first Literature Challenge, I will at noon today, and grade it this afternoon, so you still have a little bit longer to get it in, if you forgot to do it by yesterday. We've already had a great turn-out with the homework so far, so those that didn't' get it in, need to.

Let's talk next week!

My Literature classes will be entering The Twilight Zone next week, while the new Literature Challenge will be up later today, so for those that want to get a jump on it for the week can.

In my Social Studies class, we'll be learning about the Global Concepts, completing your very first group project in class, ending with your first quiz at the end of the week, and you'll also be completing your first Current Event homework assignment this week as well, something we will be talking about on Monday.

I look forward to the second week of school, so let's make the second week just as good as the first week!
