Language Arts Weekly Challenge 6

This week will have an extended Language Arts Weekly Challenge, and should be lots of fun for those that choose to participate. This Language Arts Challenge will be given two weeks for you to complete, meaning it is due before you return from Fall Break. The last day I will accept submissions for this will be Monday, October 18th.

Last week, we prepared for the Writing Prompt using the 6 Traits of Writing. If you don't remember what the 6 Traits of Writing are, you can find a blog post with their explanations about what they are under the Archives section in the week of 09/19 - 09/26.

This will also be a little bit different from the other blog challenges, as you will have to go to the following website

Then create a comic strip that helps explain one of the 6 Traits of Writing in a fun and creative. Simply click the link above, click Enter Here, create your comic strip, click Next, type in your name and e-mail address, and then type in my e-mail address (robert.chauncey@gscs.org) into the first box that says Send E-Mail to, and then click E-mail Comix.

I'll look through the comics and post the best ones. The best ones will receive a special prize, as well as be hung up in the classroom. Remember, you have two weeks to complete this. Good luck and have fun.
