Haikus

Steps to Writing a Haiku Poem
1) Pick a topic that has something to do with nature.
2) The first line of a haiku poem has five syllables.
3) The second line of a haiku poem has seven syllables.
4) The third, and final, line of a haiku poem has five syllables.

Tips
1) Haiku poems have no rhyming words.
2) It doesn't matter how many words are in each line of the poem, just how many syllables.
