Everyone remember, we will be conducting a school-wide writing prompt on Friday, October 1st. Please try to make sure you are here and on time. The testing window is from 8:30-11:00AM. Please remember to do the following:
-Get a good night's rest.
-Eat a good breakfast.
-Bring pens and pencils to school.
-Try your very best on the prompt.
Good luck to all students. Remember, practice makes perfect, which is why we complete several writing prompts through-out the year, as we prepare for the day that all students must complete the 8th Grade Writing Prompt.

- Mr. Chauncey is a teacher at Kennedy Road Middle School. He teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Read 180, and an 8th Grade ELA Enrichment class. This is his 15th year of teaching. He is on the Board of Directors at the Main Street Theatre and manager of The Haunted Theatre Haunted House.
